Our 1-Year Replacement Guarantee

If your G1 bottle has a defect within one year of purchase, we will replace it for free. No need to send the old one back.

What's covered:

  • Leaking caps or seals
  • Faulty seams or joints
  • Damaged threads
  • Damage on arrival

What's not covered:

  • Dents or damage from drops or normal wear
  • Dishwasher damage
  • Natural tarnish or darkening (this is normal for pure copper and cleans right up)
  • Damage from hot or acidic drinks

How to make a claim: Email info@g1essential.com with your order number and a photo of the issue. A real person will get back to you within 24 hours.

Copper Care Guide

How to clean (once a week, or whenever it looks dull):

  1. Mix 1 tablespoon of salt with the juice of half a lemon (or 1 tablespoon of white vinegar).
  2. Rub it over the outside with a soft cloth, and swirl it inside with a bottle brush.
  3. Rinse well with warm water.
  4. Dry it completely, upside down with the cap off.

Daily use:

  • Fill with plain water only. Ice is totally fine.
  • Many people fill it at night and drink from it the next day.
  • Empty and rinse it every day.
  • Hand wash only.

Please avoid:

  • The dishwasher
  • Hot drinks, juice, lemon water, soda or milk
  • The freezer and microwave
  • Steel wool or harsh scrubbers

Darkening is normal. Pure copper naturally tarnishes over time. A quick lemon and salt clean brings the shine right back.
